By choosing The Boutique Travel Architect to plan your trip, you ("The Client") signify your agreement with the following terms and conditions:

Travel Documents

You agree to review your itinerary and other travel documents for accuracy and to inform us promptly of any issues. The names on your documents must match your government-issued ID.

Entry & Re-entry Rules

You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination and your connecting points, and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labour or civil unrest at such destination. Make sure to note rules are subject to change whether your travels are foreign or domestic. Many countries require your passport to be valid for six months or more after your date of entry. Some countries will not admit persons convicted of a crime. Some countries require both parents’ consent for minors to travel.

Agent for Suppliers

The Boutique Travel Architect acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel or other service provider named in your itinerary or confirmation ("Suppliers"). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds, financial default, or failure to honour future trip credits. We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers and no liability for recommending a trip credit in lieu of a refund.

Risks of Travel and Release

We assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for the acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under our control or any acts of God, unsafe conditions, terrorism, health hazards including pandemics, illness, weather hazards, or the suitability for a disabled person of any portion of any trip. We have no special knowledge of dangers during travel or at destinations. You hereby expressly assume all of these risks and dangers and you hereby expressly agree to forever release, discharge and hold us harmless against any and all liability, actions, suits, claims and demands which may arise out of or in connection with these risks or dangers.

Insurance

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. Please note that most policies have a specific clause stating they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. No representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. You agree to hold us harmless for your election not to purchase travel insurance or for any denial of claim by travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 or any other claim under the policy.

Credit Card Merchant

We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights if you do not receive the services you purchased. However, if we are the credit card merchant, our role is to facilitate the sale, collect funds on your behalf, and remit those funds to the Suppliers. If the Suppliers do not provide the services, your only recourse would be against the Suppliers, and you agree not to initiate a chargeback against us.

Cancellations and Changes

Travel Design fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for reviewing the change an cancellation policy of all aspects of your booking. If you wish to change the dates of your accommodation reservation, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but it may not always be possible. All changes will be subject to any applicable travel service provider fees and you will be responsible for any increase in pricing that may occur as a result of your change request.

If you wish to change or cancel your flights, you will be required to pay $75 administration fee (per person) to The Boutique Travel Architect in addition to any applicable travel service provider fees. Refunds are completely at the discretion of the travel service provider and cannot be guaranteed or provided by The Boutique Travel Architect.

Where you seek a refund for a changed or cancelled booking for which payment has been made to the travel service provider, we will not provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from that travel service provider.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Boutique Travel Architect does not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure, insolvency, or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Prices

All prices quoted by The Boutique Travel Architect are subject to availability and subject to change. Prices are only guaranteed once your booking has been paid for in full. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product and/or service.

Price matching can only occur at the time of booking.

Schedule Changes

We recommend that you contact the travel service provider to confirm your scheduled departure time 24 hours prior to your departure.

Financial Arrangements

We may receive remuneration through commissions, financial incentives, fees or payments, rebates or other means from third party travel service providers for booking travel and travel-related products and/or services on your behalf. We are entitled to retain, and we are not required to account to you, for any such fees, payments or credits we may receive. We are not required by law to disclose the nature or value of these financial arrangements.
